A Prayer in Tumultuous Times

Faith is the theme for this week's devotional. What does faith have to do with a world that is in a state of flux? Plenty. We can even talk about the scriptures that are related to Jesus' second coming or edifying stories that provide comfort to the soul, but for now, may our words be few and spend some time in prayer:

“This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.'"
